My Metro Wars  Instructions

First I would like to welcome you to the game if you came here through a link. The game is really addictive, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Fist thing I need to point out is this page is something I did on my own, and the game managers do not endorse it, and might not even be aware of it. I am  doing this because I stumbled around my first few days, and had lots of  questions.
So here are some tips and basic instructions.

Voting for Metro Wars
At the top of most screens you will see two lines, one is to become a donator, I will get into that later. The  other is to vote for Metro Wars. Voting for Metro Wars is a quick easy way to get 72 gold bars a day. This can be sold for 720 million on the open market or 3.6Billion on the Supporters market, or traded for IQ poits. This is great money when you first start out, and it  doesn’t cost you anything. It was originally $1000.00 game money, so it is a big  jump forward.

Home:
Home is where to go to see how you stack up  against the rest of the crowd. Here you find out your stats, and your ranking against everyone else.

Housing:
Housing is extremely important. You start off  in a wooden crate, and it has a very low stamina bar. As you go up in house sizes, the larger your stamina bar. This is very important for working out in the gym and doing criminal intents. The larger your house, the larger your stamina, the larger the increase you get when you work out. You can go from less than a 2 increase per energy, to over 1000 increase per energy, depending on  your house size. So bigger is better and really important to do right away.
Also the more stamina you have, the greater your odds of completing a  criminal intent are. So it helps there to. When you change houses, your stamina  bar goes to zero, so when you start looking for a really big house later in the  game, make sure you have a Metro Shake, as it will replenish your stamina bar instantly.

Gym:
This is where you go to work on your stats. Pretty straightforward stuff here. It is recommended that you work on your speed more than anything. Speed helps you both when you are attacking and when you are defending. I recommend spending as much time in the gym as possible, especially  at the beginning. Both the gym and attacking use your energy up. You will get further by building your player up, and then attacking higher-level players. A little tip about training. Your work depends on your stamina. The higher the stamina the better the wrok out. So you will get more bang for your buck if you  train 50% from 100% (i.e. only train half when you reach 100%), and just train twice as often. This way your stmaina is higher when you do the workout. You have to train twice as often, which can be time consuming, but it will give you a little extra results.

Criminal Intent:
The criminal intent bar tells you at what level you can perform your Criminal Activity, which is found on the lower left side. You start off looking through lost wallets and work your way up. For  the first fee levels it is easier and you will be more successful if you stick  to one of the first three activities. You will gain a bit of money and experience for performing these activites

Educational Services:
Go here to learn. Start out at the bottom, which is actually the top of the list, and work your way through the  list. By starting small you will accomplish it quicker, which means you can use  those attributes while you are learning something more difficult.

Your Employment:
Everyone needs a job right? You get  some extra cash, and attributes if you have a job. So you might as well get  one.

Attributes:
I dont know the exact formula used for figuring how a fight goes, so here is just a guess. The first thing that is  determined is speed, if your speed is higher, then you have a greater chance of hitting, and not being hit. I think that is done on a ratio system. i.e. If my speed is double tyour speed, my chances are 2 to 1 in my favor.
After it is  determined if the assault was successful then I think your weapons and strength is added up and compared to your opponents defense and armor. Pretty straight forward I believe. But as I said, I did not create this game, I am just a  player.
Employment skills are only neccesary for you to get a better job, so once you get them high enough for the job you want, I wouldn’t train them anymore.
Brain Power. I get asked about this a lot, and no one has a clear  answer about it. However I have noticed and others that our Criminal Intent meters refilled faster with higher IQ’s. So I am assuming this is its main  purpose. but I dont know forsure.

Metro Alley:
This is the hub of the game. You can go  there to find medical supplies, transit, gun shops, armor shops, etc. As you move up in levels, you will also be able to travel to different cities and  areas. When you first start, there is a very important place called the metro one bank. I wise person never leaves the game with thier money still in hand.  Other players can attack you for it, so it is suggested to deposit all of your  money in the bank before signing off.

Some Important Metro Alley Places:
Residential  Construction is where you go to buy a house. At the Gold Collector you can trade  12 gold for more energy, or some gold for more brain power. Make sure you see the notes on gold later, it is a very important commodity. Shops in the Mall are game run businesses, good places to find cheap armor, weapons, and medical  supplies. The shops change with each location. The Metro Market is where players try and flog their used goods. Sometimes there are good deals, but check the  shops first. Gold Bar Market is where you can sell your gold bars, but more on that later again. You can gamble at the gambling center, don’t click the buttons  too quick, or you will be off to jail. Metro Rail is there as well, just make sure you have enough money to get home. And then there is Terrorism.

Terrorist Cells:
Here is where you go to find a gang to join. And there are lots of them, LOL. Many are several level tiered gangs.  Meaning one gang might have several lower training gangs. I started out in the games main training gang, Young Criminal Minds. I then moved up to its next level, Chosen Criminal Minds. Above that is the elite Criminal Minds. We also  have several other gangs we are friendly with, and several we are not so  friendly with, LOL.
Joining a gang offers you several benefits. First you get  the protection of the other members. You have a closer group of people to ask questions and get help from. If you are in a large gang, that is well organized,  you will also find weapons, armor, and money floating around. So you can get free upgrades from your gang.
You can try metro city life on your own, or  apply to a gang. Both ways are fun. You can always leave a gang, though you  might take a few lumps from its other members when you do.

Attacking:
Do NOT attack people while they are online.
This is not a written rule, but is considered to be  impolite. After all everyone is here to have fun, which can be hard to do from  the hospital. If you do attack people on line, expect their to be revenge, and if they are in a cell, there will be lots of revenge. It is recommended that you  always check the status of the person you are going to attack, and wait until they have been off line for 20 minutes before going after them. But as I said, this is not a game rule, just part of the code that some of the older players  have established
Once you chose to attack someone, the computer will prompt you for what weapon to use. Use the biggest thing you got. If you win, and it  sometimes may take several rounds, you will be given a choice between “Leave them lying” or hurting them more. This will determine how long they are in the hospital for. Always chose to leave them lying, you get exp and cash, and they get to play in a few minutes, instead of hours. This is another player code rule, and not one of the actual  game rules. I suggest you walk softy at first, but that is just me. Hospitalizing people will usually find them knocking on your back door at some point, if you know what i mean
If you win, they go to the hospital, if they win, you go to the hospital. Once in the hospital, you are there for a set  period of time, depending on your injuries. You can use Demerol from the  downtown pharmacy to speed up your recover. Good idea to always have some on  hand.
You need to have at least 50% energy in order to attack someone. You will lose/use 40% of your energy during the attack. So at first, I would  recommend using your energy up in the gym. If you build a strong character you will be able to fight players in higher levels than yourself. This gives you more money and more exp. when you win.
You will also find that you can only attack people in the same location. For example if you are in Metro City (where you begin), you cannot attack someone Downtown. In order to attack them you  would have to click on Metro alley, then Metro Transit, then go to Downtown, and  attack away.

Weapons and Armor:
Always only have one weapon on you.  You get to choose your weapon when attacking. But when you get attacked when you are off line, the computer does the choosing for you. So get rid of any low level weapons you have.

Gold:
The all mighty gold. You can purchase donator  packs that have gold in them. Or you can buy gold from other players. I strongly  suggest getting a donator pack or two at first. The donator packs come with  different benefits. One major one is bank wire transfer, so you can transfer  money back and forth to other players without actually having it on you. Saves having you attacked and the money stolen.
Most donator packs come with gold, the almighty. You can do several things with gold. You can trade it for energy  or brain power. Or sell it. There is a limit of 5 million a bar people are  allowed to pay for it. So don’t get caught in a deal where the price is above  that, it is grounds for a boot. High-level players need gold to replenish their  energy quicker, so they can work out more and stay high-level players. This is where being in a terrorist cell helps. You will find that if you help them, they  will help you. They can’t pay you more than the 5mil a bar. But they can give  you weapons and armor they are not using. Hint, hint. Everyone always has an  extra weapon kicking around, that they can give away, and if you are helping the  cell, guess who goes to the front of the line.
So if you have some gold, you  can get some quick cash for it. Donator pack 2 has 100 gold bars in it. You can  sell them quickly in the game for $500,000,000, hello big house.
If you ever  get gold and cant find a buyer, my id is razor1966, number 8026, you can find me through searches, I am always buying, and always have cash. Beware of scammers and always have the money wire transferred. You are after all dealing  with criminals, and giving you money and then stealing it back from you is  possible if it is a cash transfer.
I have also put together some start up packages to help you get a jump start idf you like, Startup Packages

Donator Packs:
The admin of the game has made the game  free for all to play, which is really cool. They also have made some enhancements available for those who wish to spend a few dollars to make their  experience even better. There is a donator center that gives everyone several choices on what they would like to recieve in turn for donating some cash to help support the game. Some of the big advantages of all donator packs  are:Double the standard recovery rate of your energy bar, wire transfers, bombing, robbing, and some other perks.

Metro Shakes:
These are used to replenish your stamina bar after you change houses, or work out a lot at a higher level. In the beginning you will not need them. But if you get some, they sell for 1 billion  or more dollars. So they are another way to get some quick cash.

Adrenaline:
You won’t be needing any of this for awhile. But it too often sells for a billion dollars. It is used to replenish your  Criminal Intent bar.

Bombing and Robbing:
You are allowed to rob peoples houses after you reach ten criminal intents. Get some quick cash, but you can  also end up in jail if caught. Good idea to hold off on that for a bit. To bomb you need level 50 intent, so these instructions will be long history before you  are doing that.

Preferences:
In this section you can change your  password, your name, your sex, your email address, and your avatar. Neat place  to individualize your character.

Hospital
It is hard not to play the game and never end  up in the hospital. This is where you go after you have lost a fight. Your stay here will depend upon how badly you got hurt, and whether or not your opponent choose to leave you lying or not. In the downtown pharamcy you can purchase demerol. It grealy speeds up your recovery. If you find yourself staring at the  blue hospital screen, and you will at some point LOL, go to your items and click  on the use button to the far right of the demerol tabs.

Your Items:
This is a list of your inventory. Here you can see what all you have aquired. you can use things, send them to others, or  sell them from this screen.A quick note about donator pack items, they have a value of 0 in your items list. that means if you click sell them, you get  nothing for them. Lost a metro Shake that way. You can sell Metro Shakes,  Adreneline and just about everything else on the Metro Market.

Metro Market:
This is where players can list any items they want to sell to other players. You can find just about every thing here. An important thingto remember when selling on the market is that if your item sells  it goes directly into your cash on hand. So if you are offline and sell a billion dollar item, you are now walking around with a billion dollars showing.  Your character will spend the rest of the tie you are offline in the hospital, and when you get back online, a lot of yuor money will be gone. So always remember to delist any high dollar items you have on the market before signing  off.

My Profile:
This the info others will see when they  click on your name.

More Tips:
If you are playing on more than one computer,  i.e. home and at work, tell your cell leader. Or you will run the risk of being  thrown in federal jail for IP violations. Same if you have more than one person in your house playing the game on the same computer. Be up front with the staff and it will save you some headaches in the long run. You should also read the  game rules, as there are some important notes in there. Remember you are there to have fun, so is everyone else.
This was meant to answer some of the basic questions you might have. There is still a lot to learn, I didn’t want to spoil  it all.

Friends List:
On the bottom left of your screen is a friends list. If you want you can add my name there, my ID number is 8026. I  will always try and answer your questions. The admin for the game is ID 1 and 2. They are extremely busy though, and it can take a long time for them to get back to you. If you are having major logging in problems, there is also a list of staff members that are there to help. It is highly recommended that you fisrt  contact your cell leader (if in a gang), or a staff member other than 1 and 2, if you have a problem. The more time 1 and 2 have to work on adding features to the game, the better the game will be. Young Criminal Minds is a good place to get your feet wet, and most other cells won’t attack you. Keeping a friends list is important, as your mail server will be wiped clean almost daily. So it is a good place to store contact information about people you like in the game. It is however only available to those that are donators.

Black list:
The opposite of a friends list is the Black  list. You can store people you like to visit and bang heads with often on this list. Again it is only available to donators
